SYNOPSIS
Milan, August 2009.
Four workers climb on a crane 20 meters high inside the shed of Innse, the historic Innocenti of Via Rubattino, the last factory still active within Milan. They want to stop the dismantling of the machinery and prevent the closure of the factory. The shed is surrounded by hundreds of policemen and within a few hours, supporters come from all over Italy. The four workers remain for eight days and seven nights at more than 40 degrees, suspended in a space that is only a few square meters. The national press speaks of labor struggle, but it is something different. There’s a clear strategy. There’s an organized army. There are precise rules. It is a war with a paradigm applicable to every form of struggle.
